The Green Bay Packers will pick twice during the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, this after a draft-day trade with the New Orleans Saints last year. With their first of two picks, expect the Green Bay Packers to add a quality offensive lineman, and later on, bring in a weapon for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Last season, the Packers decided to fire Mike McCarthy mid-year, saying goodbye to a coach that led them to one Super Bowl victory. In 2019, they will be rolling with a first-year head coach in Matt LaFleur, and it will be very important for him to build a solid relationship with his franchise quarterback.

One way of doing that would be to bring in A.J. Brown with the No. 30 overall pick on Thursday night, giving Rodgers a dynamic weapon on the outside. Brown was absolutely terrific for the Ole Miss Rebels during his time on campus, becoming one of the better wide receivers in the best conference in college football.

Green Bay certainly has the talent to be a formidable force in a very tough NFC North this season, especially after adding so much talent to their defense via free agency. With the defense stocked up,Ā  they can afford to use both first rounders on the offense, which is certain to bring a smile to Rodgers’ face.
