High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Draymond Green (vs LAC – $8,400): Needs 36.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.3 fantasy points against LA Clippers. As always, you typically know what you’re getting out of Draymond. He’s been a reliable option all series and he’s shown a good ceiling. He always gets the minutes and can put up numbers in all categories. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick Favors (at HOU – $7,100): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.7 fantasy points against Houston. Favors isn’t getting huge minutes and is still coming off the bench. But your only other option here is Harrell and he hasn’t shown up in the last two games. Both have good ceilings but Favors would appear to be the more reliable option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

PJ Tucker (vs UTA – $6,000): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against Utah. Tucker’s salary keeps rising and because of that, I don’t like him quite as much as usual. But I still like him because he’s a consistent player and you know he’s going to contribute. He’s a salary saving option if you don’t want to spend on the higher guys. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Kevon Looney (vs LAC – $4,100): Needs 17.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13.4 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Just not a lot to like under Tucker. Looney gets decent enough minutes and maybe this ends up being a blowout where Looney can get some extra minutes. He won’t hurt you at this salary, which is something. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
