NBA Draftkings – Top Plays
Welcome back to some NBA Draftkings articles! I know it has been all about MLB but the NBA Playoffs are still going on! While the days, we have different sizes of slates from just 2 games to 4 games, there is still money to bee won. I would recommend playing more on the GPP side of things and not so much on cash. Lets dive in to this 2 game slate and get ready for this 8:00/5:00 p.m lock!
Kevin Durant vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($8,200)
Now Kevin Durant has been pretty solid since DeMarcus Cousins tore his quad in an unfortunate incident. He has scored 56.5 and 52.75 fantasy points in his past two games while having a usage rate of 30% without DeMarcus Cousins on the court.
One issue that we may run in to is that the Warriors are blowing out the Los Angeles Clippers since blowing the 31 point lead. This game is also an elimination game for the Clippers so they may put a fight tonight which could cause this game to be kept close.
James Harden vs. Utah Jazz ($10,400)
James Harden had what some may call a “bad game” in the previous game versus the Jazz but he still managed to put up 42.75 fantasy points. That’s the first game below 55 fantasy points in this series for him. Harden is still dominating in the usage rating department with a solid 40% also. I would not worry about Harden repeating his poor performance once again as he rarely has bad back to back games.
Stephen Curry vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($8,300)
I know I have two “high” priced point guards in the top plays but if you don’t want to play Harden at his price play, Curry is a great option also. Curry put up 41.50 fantasy points with HORRIBLE shooting. He went 3-14 from the field with 1-9 from 3 point range. He recorded 10 rebounds and 7 assists to go along with his performance.
Curry has not been on top of his performance since game 1 of the series but the Clippers do give up 48.74 fantasy points to opposing point guards. Curry’s usage rate is 30% but it does drop to 28% with DeMarcus Cousins out of the game.
Rankings in Ownership: 1. Kevin Durant 2. James Harden 3. Steph Curry

Chris Paul vs. Utah Jazz ($7,100)
Now this play I am going off of Chris Paul’s last performance with a 56.5 fantasy point performance. That was the game where James Harden was slacking so Chris Paul stepped up majorly. He has scored 35, 32, and 30.25 fantasy points in the first three games of the series.
Thee Utah Jazz do only give up 45.73 fantasy points to opposing point guards based off of the regular season stats. Also Chris Paul is holding a usage rate of just 22% this season. I do love the play of Chris Paul but his game will highly depend on what type of James Harden we get tonight.
Draymond Green vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($6,600)
Playoff Draygoon is always one of my favorite players to watch and use in DFS. He has only scored below 35 fantasy points once in this playoff series and that was with 32 fantasy points in his previous game. He has returned at least 5x value in every single game so far and is too cheap to pass up.
With this two game slate, he may be chalky but I still won’t see myself rolling off of using him. Green has a 13% usage rate but with DeMarcus Cousins off of the court, he gets a 4% usage bump.
Lou Williams vs. Golden State Warriors ($6,900)
Sweet Lou has had to underwhelming and below value performances now since his dominant performance in game 2. He put up just 23.5 and 27 fantasy points in his previous two games, not even breaking his 5x value. He may go low owned due to that. This is do or die for the Los Angeles Clippers though.
The Warriors are giving up just 40 fantasy points to opposing guards this season though. Lou Williams is holding a solid 32% usage rate this season though, coming off of the bench.
Rankings in Ownership: 1. Draymond Green 2. Chris Paul 3. Lou Williams

Andrew Bogut vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($4,800)
I dislike every center on this slate so Andrew Bogut will be my main target at the position but he may also be highly owned due to his salary price and it being a 2 game slate. Bogut has put up 19.25, 37, and 24.5 fantasy points since Boogie’s injury. He’s also averaging about 22-24 minutes in this series now.
The Los Angeles Clippers are giving up 62.5 fantasy points to opposing centers during the season which is a great statistic for Bogut. He has a usage rate of 14% without Boogie on the court also. Like I mentioned, the center position is not appealing to me at all and I’ll stick to lower costing guys like Bogut instead.
Jae Crowder vs. Houston Rockets ($4,300)
Jae Crowder had his game of the series so far with his previous game, scoring 34.5 fantasy points in 33 minutes. He had a very slow start versus the Rockets, scoring just 13.25, 17.75, and 18.75 fantasy points in the previous three games.
This Houston Rockets team has allowed opposing forwards to average 40 fantasy points per game throughout the season also. Crowder is holding a usage rate of 19% this season also. If the Jazz roll with the momentum once again as a functioning team, Crowder should be able to put up another great performance.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. Golden State Warriors ($4,700)
SGA has had a roller-coaster playoff series for his young career as he has scored 32.75, 19, 15.75, and 33 fantasy points so far. Like I’ve mentioned before, this is an elimination game for the Clippers so we can expect them to show up fully tonight (we hope).
SGA is holding just a 18% usage rate with this Clippers squad this season and is averaging around 30 minutes per game in this playoff series. The Warriors are allowing opposing guards to average 40 fantasy points per game. SGA may be low owned guy tonight and if so, we hope for the Clippers to come out guns blazing to keep up with this Warriors team.
Rankings in Ownership: 1. Jae Crowder 2. Andrew Bogut 3. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
