Speaking of Champions, the Viking Raiders (we think that’s what they’re called) will be facing off against the Street Profits in a non-title matchup. It was once understood that the titles would be on the line but now that seems it isn’t the case. One would have to wonder how long the Viking Raiders will be allowed to stay on the black and gold brand as they are currently running through the tag team division on Monday Night Raw. If the Street Profits can’t get the win tonight then who will be the next team to step up and challenge the champions? Hopefully, we’ll find out soon enough.

We will also have women’s tag team action this week, as the team of Vanessa Borne and Aliyah face off against Candice LeRae and a partner of her choosing. Who will step up to team up with LeRae against the duo of Borne and Aliyah? Or will no one step up and she has to wrestle a handicap match instead? It will be interesting to see if LeRae can form a new tag team to become a future contender for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles — or not.

The black and gold brand keeps chugging along on the road to the next NXT TakeOver in June. This week’s episode should feature a good night of matches that progress some stories and determine the future of NXT’s biggest feuds in the months to come. What do you hope to see on NXT tonight? Sound off in the comments below.
