Welcome back readers of FantasyCPR, we are back with a NBA DFS DraftKings Showdown slate for Game 6 of the Western Conference First Round matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. We only have one NBA playoff game tonight, so I decided to put together this piece to help you structure your lineup for those of you who are not familiar with the concept of showdown slates. Enjoy!

NBA DFS DraftKings Showdown Advice: Warriors v. Clippers (Game 6)

Captain:

Stephen Curry, GS ($15,600)

Curry will be my pick at the NBA DFS captain position, majority of people will play Kevin Durant. However, it’s closing time and Curry simply hasn’t really been crazy assertive this series. I’m waiting for his second huge game of the series. No better time than Game 6 in Los Angeles to close this series out. It also helps that he is $1,500 cheaper than Kevin Durant.

Draymond Green, GS ($11,700)

Green allows things to open up and if he can somehow put together a decent scoring night then he is going to be able to put together that ceiling game. In 9 games this season against the Clippers, Green has averaged 36.8 DraftKings Points, 10.3 points per game, 6.9 assist per game and 7.7 rebounds per game. Maybe he gets hot from 3 in the big game.

Filling in the lineup:

Kevin Durant, GS ($11,400)

Kevin Durant is quickly proving why when he is on this team that they are the most dangerous team in the NBA. I will not feel comfortable without playing Kevin Durant in every lineup I make tomorrow. He is in play at the captain position, but it is a really tough fit. Durant has gone over 30 points in three straight games and he is likely going to be able to do it again. The Clippers simply just do not have an answer for Kevin Durant and it has shown over the last three games. In 9 games against the Clippers this season, Durant has averaged 53 DraftKings points a night. Do not fade Kevin Durant.

Lou Williams, LAC ($10,000)

Lou Williams has to be big time, if the Clippers have any chance of sending this back to Golden State for Game 7. Lou is capable of a big game, and he is likely going to show up after two down games at home earlier in the series. He’s going to leave it all on the floor.

Andre Iguodala, GS ($5,000)

Iguodala is a great salary saver for this matchup. I have used Iguodala every time the Warriors have been on the slate and tonight will be no different. Lock in Iguodala, don’t like his upside at the captain position but I think he is definitely in play at one utility slot.

Andrew Bogut, GS ($5,600)

Bogut didn’t play much last game, I see him pushing close to 25 minutes again in the close out game. Bogut is going to be popular but I think we have to just plug him and take his guaranteed points in cash games.

Long Shot:

Shaun Livingston, GS ($1,000)

We’ve yet to really see an incredible ceiling with him, but he has played in these games multiple times and Livingston is capable of getting the mid-range shot going and racking up the DraftKings points. Now, Livingston isn’t going to get 40 DraftKings points. He isn’t going to likely break 20 DraftKings points but he could push 15 and at $1,000 what more do we need. He’s going to play 12 minutes so there is a really low floor.
