NBA Playoffs 2019: Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers Game 6 live stream: Watch online
By Ian Levy
Can the Clippers keep pulling off the impossible, beat the Warriors in Game 6, and give themselves a chance to complete the series upset?
No matter what happens next, the Clippers have proven themselves to be a relentless opponent for the Warriors. They completed an epic 31-point comeback to win Game 2 on the road and executed down the stretch of Game 5 to hold off the Warriors, also on the road. The Warriors lost just 11 road games all season long and the Clippers have taken two from them in about a week. They’ll need one more road win to pull off the series upset but to get there, they’ll need to get a win in Los Angeles in Game 6.
Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell have been the biggest issue for Warriors, with Williams orchestrating the pick-and-roll and hitting tough shots, and Harrell dunking just about everything in the paint. Harrell is shooting 85.7 percent as the screener in the pick-and-roll, averaging nearly 2.0 points per possession. They’ve been able to get good shots on almost every possession and that combination should help down the stretch of a close game.
The Warriors shooters have all had big games but it hasn’t seemed to come in the same game. For the sake of actually advancing and holding onto as much confidence as possible, the Warriors need to win Game 6 and avoid giving the Clippers another chance at making history.
