NBA Bets – Can The Rockets Overcome The Warriors?
By John Fazio
Good day from NBA Bets. The highly anticipated series between Houston and Golden State starts at 3:30 pm Eastern time Sunday. Let’s see what the system has to say about the outcome.
NBA Bets predicts Houston will beat Golden State in the series.
The Rockets have dominated the regular season series over the Warriors and NBA Bets does not see a good enough reason to alter course here in the playoffs. This series result, if accurately predicted here, will surprise a lot of people and will put the NBA Championship up for grabs, something that has not happened in a long time.
The odds out there as of this writing are in the +2.50 range for the Rockets to win the series. All it would take is for Houston to win 1 of the first 2 games in Golden State and the odds would shift significantly toward the Rockets, especially of course if they win game 1.
However there is a better way to wager on the series and it’s in the prop section – Houston Rockets series games won +1 +2.00. This is what NBA Bets is recommending. Here for the 50 cents you are giving up to win the series outright, you have the protection of holding home court and not coming out a loser.
If the Rockets win their 3 home games, this bet cannot lose but most certainly can win. It’s a way to take nice 2-1 odds and still have the protection of Houston losing the series in 7 games.
In the East, NBA Bets has predicted the 2 favorites, Toronto and Milwaukee, to advance and meet in the conference finals.
Since the system only advises wagering on underdogs and favorites of no more than -1.40, that renders these 2 series mute as far as wagering is concerned for the series. Individual games may still be targeted at any time by NBA Bets and will be written about and posted on twitter.
In the West, the Denver vs Portland series should be an interesting one. NBA Bets will be back with a look at that match-up after lines have been posted.
