MLB Bets – Monday April 29 – Is St Louis For Real?
By John Fazio
Good day from MLB Bets. Monday there is a new crop of series. The system likes to watch the first game to see how the teams are matching up.
MLB Bets was a small loser yesterday making the season total plus 24.17 units. Plays for tracking purposes are all valid regardless of pitching changes. All times Eastern.
MLB Bets does recommend 2 plays today so let’s get to it:
San Diego (+1.32) handles Atlanta, 7:20 pm
The Padres are playing very well. They almost won yesterday in a very negative pitching match-up and therefore are a force to be reckoned with – at least for now.
Nick Margevicius is the starter for San Diego. He’s had 4 out of 5 quality starts and has pitched well on the road. The Atlanta starter is yet to be confirmed but it’s probably Mike Soroka. He has 2 quality starts and is in good form.
However the system is saying take San Diego with the plus money.
St Louis (+1.40) nullifies Washington, 7:05 pm
The Cardinals are up against the Nationals best pitcher. Michael Wacha can match him and more tonight.
At least so far here in April, St Louis has the better overall team so whenever they are getting odds MLB Bets will be analyzing the pitchers to see if the dog can hold its own. Two good pitchers go tonight as Patrick Corbin has been outstanding but so has Wacha except for 1 outing.
The Cardinals appear to be a step above last year while Washington has taken at least a small step back. Wacha has dominated weaker opponents as he is now 18-6 in road games against a sub .500 team.
MLB Bets Recap For Monday April 29th:
San Diego +1.32
St Louis +1.40
The system is looking at these 2 recommendations today believing each one should be a pick or possibly a small favorite. Splitting the 2 games would be pocketing the odds and that would be good enough for this Monday.
