NBA Bets – Game 2 – Can The Rockets Get The Win?
By John Fazio
Good day from NBA Bets. Houston covered but did not win game 1. The Ref’s Numerous Non-Foul Calls Won’t Happen Again.
At least not in this series. NBA Bets sees too much focus being placed on these non calls, especially in the first half, for the ref’s to put themselves at the center of attention like this again.
Not only did it cost the Rockets points but just as importantly the non calls removed Klay Thompson from getting into early foul trouble which would have completely altered the flow of the game.
Officials want to be inconspicuous – the players should determine the entire outcome of a game. Anytime ref’s are mentioned, either from non calls as in game 1 and as in the National Football Conference title game, it means there’s an argument about who the real winner should have been.
NBA Bets believes this will make the ref’s better. In order for James Harden to make a good percentage of three’s, he needs his space to land. So does every shooter for that matter. But just the fact that he has to worry about a defender undercutting him and not getting a foul called disrupts a shooters concentration on the basket.
Golden State is smart enough to realize this, and if the ref’s are not calling these types of fouls, players are going to take advantage and keep doing it. Why not. The object is to win, not to follow Marcus of Queensberry rules and be gentlemen. If there is an advantage to be taken, on either side, expect it to happen.
At the same time the officials are now in the spotlight. And that is exactly where they do not want to be. Expect these fouls to be called in game 2, and if anything Harden may be the beneficiary of a bad call or two.
NBA Bets is now releasing it’s play for game 2:
NBA Bets – Game 2 – Can The Rockets Get The Win?
Houston +6 against Golden State, April 30th at 10:30 pm Eastern
The system also has taken Houston +1 @ +2.00 in the series. The adjusted series price on the Rockets now stands at +3.48 – a flyer can be taken on this. Most likely, should Houston lose game 2, NBA Bets will release another wager on the adjusted series price at that time, which will probably be around +4.35. The system expects Houston to win game 3.

Boston – Milwaukee: Can The Celtics Win Game 2?
Most definitely yes. Boston is playing better than expected so far in the playoffs and the control they had in game 1 was no joke. Nothing about the ref’s in this game. Boston was better, period.
Grabbing a solid 1st quarter lead and hanging on as they did was something special to witness. They are playing with confidence and the jinx of game 2 may not affect the Celtics this time around.
NBA Bets was originally expecting to stay away from this game as it has called for the Bucks to win this series, although no play was given because the system does not lay odds over -1.40. The adjusted series price here is Milwaukee -1.25.
If Boston wins game 2 in Milwaukee, NBA Bets will most likely then take the Bucks in the series at a big plus price. For now, let’s look at the play the system wants in game 2:
Boston +8 over Milwaukee, April 30th at 8pm Eastern
The Celtics can at least hang in there and cover this spread if not win outright again. As of this writing the line is mostly 7 1/2 with a couple of scattered 8’s out there. Getting the number is very important to the system so grab an 8 if you can.
NBA Bets Recap For April 30th:
Houston +6
Boston +8
