Baltimore Ravens

Grade: B-

Best pick: Justice Hill (RB, Oklahoma St)

Questionable pick: Marquise Brown (WR, Oklahoma)

Sleeper pick: Daylon Mack (DT, Texas A&M)

The Ravens came into this draft needing to add help at wide receiver (what else is new) and opted to use their first-round selection on Oklahoma’s Marquise Brown. While there’s no denying Brown’s electric speed, I question his long-term durability because of his size and injury history, especially with receivers like N’Keal Harry still on the board. Add that to the fact of the impact Lisfranc injuries can have on athletes, and Brown is a very boom-or-bust prospect for a Baltimore offense that needs stability as it continues to develop Lamar Jackson as its franchise quarterback.

Justice Hill was one of the more underrated running backs in the class and should do a good job at opening up the run game to take pressure off of Lamar Jackson. Hill had an outstanding showing at the Combine and despite being a bit undersized, had consistent production while in college and is the type of home run hitter that the Ravens don’t currently have in their backfield. Being able to get a dynamic runner like Hill is excellent value in the fourth round.
