The Denver Broncos will be another team that has a new head coach in 2019, as Vic Fangio will replace Vance Joseph. Fangio head to Denver after a stellar season as the defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, whose defense helped them to first place in the NFC North last season.

With Fangio installed as the head coach, the Broncos shifted their focus to the offseason, and they have done a nice job adding talent on this roster. In fact, they may have had the best draft of any other team in the AFC West, a division that will be an exciting one to watch in 2019.

Looking at this Broncos roster, they may have to add some more talent to the defensive backfield next offseason, and Grant Delpit is the best safety in this draft class. Delpit is so good that some believe he will be a top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, which is quite the statement for a guy who plays his position.

The bottom line is, Fangio is a defensive-minded coach, and he would love to have a guy like Delpit in the final layer of his defense. This is a Denver team that is building their roster the right way, and there is no reason why they cannot be a playoff contender in a year or two, especially if second rounder Drew Lock is the real deal at quarterback.
