2020 NFL mock draft: Tua Tagovailoa goes to Dolphins
By Brad Weiss
The Minnesota Vikings knew they had to do something to improve their offensive line during the 2019 NFL Draft, and they did just that, adding Garrett Bradbury in the first round. Arguably the best interior lineman in the draft class, Bradbury will help anchor a line that had Kirk Cousins running for his life for much of last season.
In addition, star running back Dalvin Cook will be in year two since injuring his knee as a rookie, and the addition of Bradbury will only help him and the way he likes to run through the tackles. This is a Vikings team that made it all the way to the NFC title game two years ago, and they could be a force in the conference again in 2019.
Looking at this roster, not only did the offensive line struggle last year, but so did the defense, and they could add to that side of the ball in the first round in 2020. One player who could be available this late in round one is A.J. Terrell, a playmaking cornerback from Clemson.
The Vikings have used first round selections on the cornerback position in the past, and Terrell would be a solid addition to a group that is strength for this team. You can never have too many good defensive backs, and in a division where you play Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford twice a year, the more then merrier.
