WWE SmackDown Live preview, April 30: Watch online
Heres the info you need to watch WWE SmackDown Live via an online stream.
After we found out who would be involved in the Raw portion of the May 19 Money In The Bank ladder matches, it’s time to find out which men and women will represent SmackDown Live in both of those matches. It’s not known yet who exactly will reveal the participants, but the WWE Universe will know that answer by the end of the night.
For the last two weeks, we’ve gotten to see a more relaxed and even “fun” side of Kevin Owens. He’s been teaming up with Xavier Woods and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, while their New Day brother Big E recovers from an injured knee. Everyone was skeptical of how Owens would fit in. Given his past history of betraying friends and partners, it was hard to believe he could be the fill-in for the popular trio. But last week, the fears of that situation were realized. Owens viciously attacked his partners, and left a glorified crime scene in his wake. He delivered a superkick to Kingston, who was in a one-on-one match with Shinsuke Nakamura at the time. Owens then powerbombed Woods on the ring apron, leaving him collapsed in a heap on the ring floor.
All anyone could do was watch in shock as Owens decimated the pair and showed just how lethal he can be. This week, the WWE Champion will respond to Owens, and react to the brutal assault from last week. While we can expect match between the two at Money In The Bank, don’t rule out a brawl at some point during this week’s broadcast.
Speaking of Money In The Bank, Becky Lynch is certainly going to have her hands full. The holder of both the Raw and SmackDown Live Women’s Championships will be defending both titles on May 19 in separate matches. While her Raw title will be defended against recent newcomer Lacey Evans, we learned last week that she will also defend the SmackDown title against Charlotte Flair. It seems as though Lynch can’t shake off The Queen since their WrestleMania triple threat main event. Just when she thinks she can move on, Flair is there to pull some sort of stunt. And she’s succeeded again, finding a way to earn yet another championship match.
But before The Man gets to Money In The Bank, she will step into the ring this week for a first-ever match with Bayley. Can the dual champion keep her focus on the newest member of the SmackDown Live roster, or is she thinking too far ahead to a long night in May? If she doesn’t have her full attention to this match, Bayley could pull off a huge upset and put herself in line for a shot at the gold.

In addition to all that, Elias issued a challenge to Roman Reigns for Money in The Bank. Reigns has accepted, and the two will face off on May 19. But there is still a lot of time between now and then, and plenty of time for Reigns and Elias to get really familiar with beating each other senseless along the way. Plus, there seems to be an alliance between Elias and Shane McMahon, so he could factor into all this as well.
