It’s time for matchweek 37 of the Premier League and there are plenty of exciting games to watch. Here are five bold predictions for all the action.

There are only two games left in what has been an enthralling Premier League season. There’s still plenty of things left to decide including the eventual title winner, who will claim the final top four spot and who will join Huddersfield and Fulham in the Championship next season.

Manchester City will need to beat Leicester on Monday night in order to maintain top sport while Liverpool face a difficult trip to Newcastle in order to keep the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s side. On Sunday, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all in action as they fight it out for the final top four spot.

At the bottom of the table it’s still not confirmed whether Brighton or Cardiff will be relegated. Cardiff host Crystal Palace in a game that they must win while Brighton have a very difficult away trip to Arsenal. Here are five bold predictions for all the action.

5. Manchester City held to draw by Leicester

This weekend, almost every game in the Premier League is a “big one.” However, for many fans the two biggest will be the matches that feature Manchester City and Liverpool. The two title contenders have produced one of the most exciting title races in recent years and whoever comes out on top will be remembered for a long time to come.

Liverpool will play first this weekend while Manchester City host Leicester on Monday night looking to match whatever the Reds do against Newcastle on Saturday. Many thought that City’s game with Burnley last weekend was Liverpool’s last chance of gaining ground on the champions but Brendan Rodgers and Leicester may have other ideas.

Stranger things have happened this season and Leicester have become a much better side since Rodgers has taken over. The Northern Irishman almost won the title with Liverpool himself a few years ago and he could give his old club a helping hand this season.

Manchester City have been on a formidable run and no matter who their opposition is it’s hard to see them dropping any points. The key to challenging Pep Guardiola’s side is staying very tight at the back and drawing them onto you in order to hit on the counter.

This is something that Leicester have been good at all season although this style was more prevalent under ex-manager Claude Puel. Rodgers has brought in a more soccer-friendly style that, while pleasing on the eye, is not as defensively sound.

This means that the Foxes will almost certainly need to score at the Etihad on Monday. That shouldn’t be a problem though as they’ve managed eleven goals in their last five matches with Jamie Vardy in fine form.

City will be frustrated by Leicester for a long time in this match but eventually find a breakthrough. However, this won’t be enough as the Foxes respond with an equalizer that could send the Premier League trophy to Anfield.
