Lazio face Atalanta at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, May 5. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Four points separate Lazio and Atalanta ahead of their game on Sunday. Atalanta enter the weekend in fourth place. However, no team in Serie A has wanted to hold onto fourth place. Several teams have been fourth over the second half of the season but none of them have been able to create separation between themselves and the fifth-place club. Atalanta are one point ahead of Roma, three points ahead of AC Miln and Torino and four points ahead of Lazio. The Eagles need to win on Sunday if they are going to have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Lazio spent several weeks in fourth place over the first half of the season. However, after losing three of their last five games and picking up only four points, the Eagles have fallen back in the race for fourth. After being the highest scoring club in Serie A last season, Lazio have struggled to score at the same rate they did last season. Ciro Immobile has only 14 goals after leading Serie A in scoring last season. While Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto have had a significant drop off in their goal tally this season.

Atalanta are unbeaten over their last nine games, picking up 21 points. The highest scoring team in Serie A moved into fourth place after beating Udinese last weekend. The Goddess will rely on Colombian striker Duvan Zapata to lead their attack. Zapata is having a career year, scoring 21 goals and adding seven assists.

Lazio and Atalanta will play again this season on May 15 when they meet in the Coppa Italia final. In their earlier meeting this season, Atalanta won 1-0, with Zapata scoring. Lazio have not beaten Atalanta since Jan. 15, 2017.
