WWE SmackDown Live preview, May 7: Watch online
Here is the information you’ll need to watch the May 7, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown Live via an online stream.
An explosive week of WWE SmackDown Live is scheduled for this week and there is a lot of ground to cover. From a six-woman tag to fallouts from the last few weeks, prepare for a wild night on the USA Network.
As most of you have heard by now, and as it was again mentioned this week on Monday Night Raw, Jeff Hardy sustained a knee injury that was worsened after a recent encounter with Lars Sullivan. As a result, the Hardy Boyz were forced to vacate the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Shane McMahon is scheduled to be in the building and will be announcing new champions this week. Now the big question looms: who will he select to wear the gold? With Money In The Bank a couple of weeks away, you would think there would be a tournament or qualifying situation to name new champions. So it will be interesting to see what Shane-O-Mac does this week when he declares new tag champs.
The women of Team Blue will be in action, in a special six-woman tag team match. Bayley will team up with Ember Moon and Carmella, as they face Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. This will be a small preview of what is to come at Money In The Bank, with the women battling for a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Can Bayley and company pick up the win, or will Charlotte get some much-needed momentum going into her title match with Becky Lynch?
There is a growing battle between Kevin Owens and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. After several weeks of playing along as the “honorary” member of The New Day, Owens shocked everyone when he viciously assaulted Kingston and Xavier Woods. Kingston got a measure of revenge last week, when he attacked Owens to the point he retreated. This week, Owens will be on hand to respond to Kingston and the attack.
