High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Al Horford (at MIL – $7,500): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.7 fantasy points against Milwaukee. The Bucks are letting Horford have any shot he wants on offense because Al Horford probably isn’t going to beat you in a playoff series. It’s a strategy that has worked for the Bucks and for DFS players taking Horford, who has been a reliable option with solid production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Clint Capela (at GS – $7,000): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.8 fantasy points against Golden State. Capela is in a tough spot because PJ Tucker is now the small ball five option and he’s been a great option that has completely changed the series for the Rockets. Capela’s price is too high if he can no longer stay on the floor. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (vs BOS – $4,700): Needs 20.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.6 fantasy points against Boston. Not a lot to like at the value center position. If you’re not going to take any of these three guys, you’re better off burning the position and taking someone who isn’t going to cost you anything in order to save money elsewhere. Lopez just hasn’t delivered in this series and there is no reason to think he will start now. But stranger things have happened. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.
