NBA Playoffs 2019: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics Game 5 live stream: Watch online
By Ian Levy
The Boston Celtics face elimination in Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Can they stave off an early end to their disappointing season?
Confidence for the Celtics was sky high after their Game 1 thumping over the Bucks. Since then, they’ve lost three in a row, with each loss seeing a more dominant version of Giannis Antetokounmpo taking over. In the first two games, Boston was +14 on points in the paint. In the last two, they’re -50. That might be survivable if Kyrie Irving was stepping up but he’s been a disaster — shooting 30.6 percent from the field and 20 percent on 3-pointers since Game 1. Gordon Hayward has also been a no-show, totaling just 17 in points in the last three games.
Those two players — Irving and Hayward — were supposed to be the difference between last season’s surprising run to the Eastern Conference Finals and this season’s hypothetical title run. Both players struggled with inconsistency during the regular season but this series has been another level of disappointment and one more bad game could bring the season to an end completely.
Casting a long shadow over their struggles is the figure of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is back to dunking over anything in his path. Whatever defensive advantage Boston had in Game 1 has dissipated and he’s been the best player on the floor, and then some, over the last three games.
Below is everything you’ll need to watch Game 5.

A Boston loss could also be the last game for Kyrie Irving in a Celtics uniform. He’s a free agent this summer and rumors have repeatedly linked him to the Knicks. Win or lose, Game 5 should be interesting.
