28. Justin Fields – Quarterback, Ohio State

The transfer portal has taken over college football, and no move was more prominent than Justin Fields moving from Georgia to Ohio State. Coming out of high school the two most famous names in the country were Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields. Lawrence already proved what he could do on the biggest stage, and 2019 could be the year we see Fields arrive on the scene.

Physically Fields is everything you could ask for in a modern-day quarterback; he’s got the NFL size at 6’3″ 230 pounds and the arm talent to make any throw on the field. And he brings tremendous speed (4.51 laser time) to extend plays and keep the defense guessing at all times. Fields chose Ohio State after seeing what new head coach Ryan Day did with Dwayne Haskins, so his goal is clearly to be a high draft pick.

As a true sophomore, he won’t be eligible until the 2021 draft, but by the end of this next college football season, he could easily be one of the top players in the nation. You don’t find guys with his combination of throwing ability and athleticism that often so it’ll be hard for NFL teams to resist his upside.
