Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5 will deliver the Last War between Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister. Here’s how to live stream and watch online.
Game of Thrones fans may not be the happiest with the way that season 8 has played out to start the season, but we’re finally on our way to the end of the series. That begins with the penultimate episode on Sunday, May 12 as the Last War gets underway between the forces of Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister in episode 5. And despite fans being down on the season, everyone will still tune in.
Perhaps the biggest question about Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5 is how Dany will react to all that’s going on. Jon Snow is not only the true heir to the Iron Throne that she covets, but her advisors in Tyrion Lannister and Varys are questioning her fitness to rule behind her back. On top of that, the deaths of her close confidants and now two of her dragons is not helping her mood in any way.
On the flip side of the coin, the crowned villain of Game of Thrones in Cersei Lannister is as ruthless as ever. To this point in season 8, though, everything has gone her way — save for her getting the elephants she wanted. She surely has more up her sleeve, but her plot armor is getting dangerous thin at this point.
To watch Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5, you’re going to need an HBO subscription. Be it through the actual channel, through HBO Now, an add-on with Hulu or Amazon or another add-on service, having that channel and service is the only way to watch the end of the cultural phenomenon.
