San Francisco Giants: The smooth voice of Tony Bennett
The San Francisco Giants have done their fair share of winning over the past decade, hauling in three World Series titles. Needless to say, that meant that they won a lot of games to put them in position to make a postseason run, which means a lot of Tony Bennett.
You see, when it comes to Giants home games, any time the team comes away with the victory it is time to hear Tony Bennett sing “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.” Bennett is a legend in the city of San Francisco and has been a fixture at Giants games for years.
Bennett is one of the greatest singers of all time, and while he has always shown his love for the Giants franchise, they have also reciprocated the feeling. There is a Tony Bennett suite at AT&T Park, and the Giants have had several Tony Bennett nights in the past, including giving him a bobblehead doll.
While the Giants are not that great right now, and Bennett is not hears on nearly as regular a basis as he used to be, this is still one of the more beloved rituals in Major League Baseball. At 92 years old, Bennett is still active in the singing world and the hope is that he will enjoy more years of winning Giants baseball.
