Versatile Cowboys defensive lineman charged in Florida bar incident, could face discipline from the NFL.

Dallas defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford was charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful assembly in connection with a bar fight in March. In addition, TMZ.com posted video of the event early Tuesday showing Crawford fighting with members of the security staff at the bar.

As a result, Crawford could face discipline from the NFL over the incident. Even if found innocent of any crime, the league could impose a suspension or fine on Crawford, as it has with players such as Greg Hardy and Dallas teammate Zeke Elliott.

Crawford has pleaded not guilty to the charge, which came after the March 15 event at the Coyote Ugly Saloon in Panama City. According to the report, Crawford was part of a fight that went from the bar area into the street. The affidavit alleged that Crawford also charged at police when they tried to detain members of the group he was with.

Crawford, 29, is an eight-year veteran after being drafted from Boise State in 2012 in the third round. He missed all of the 2013 season with a torn Achilles’ tendon, but has otherwise been durable, missing only three other games in his career.
