High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Kawhi Leonard (at MIL – $11,400): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. I’m so pumped for Kawhi vs. Giannis. They are going to go at each other and even though one will ultimately struggle, they’ll both end up getting their numbers. Kawhi averaged 45 fantasy points in four games against the Bucks this season. Not great but now we’re talking about playoff Kawhi. He’ll deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs TOR – $11,600): Needs 52.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Boston. Kawhi is going to be a tough one-on-one matchup for Giannis. But Giannis did average 59.3 fantasy points in three games against the Raptors in the regular season and 1.7 FPPM in those contests. So, on paper, it doesn’t look great, but Giannis remains Giannis. That said, for Game 1, I slightly lean towards Kawhi. Call it a gut feeling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (at MIL – $8,400): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Siakam has been his consistent self in the playoffs and he averaged 40.5 fantasy points in four games against the Bucks in the regular season. You typically know what you’re going to get out of him and until I see something different, I will continue to trust him as a reliable option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
