Game 1: vs. Miami

Remember when these games within the state of Florida use to be good? The program names in this game sound great, but at the moment the Gators have more proven talent given their performance in 2018. With that, they should be able to pull away and get this victory.

Result: Win

Game 2: vs. UT Martin

There is not much to say about this game, Florida is immensely more talented and should have this wrapped up fairly quickly.

Result: Win

Game 3: at Kentucky

Kentucky had a very unexpected season in 2018 where they finished 10-3 and beat Florida which ended a 31 game losing streak to the Gators. However, they lost a ton production on both sides of the ball, and it is hard to see them winning two in a row. Give this win to Florida.

Result: Win

Game 4: vs. Tennessee

The Volunteers are another team that has not had a ton of success against Florida recently, and 2019 isn’t set up to be any better. Jeremy Pruitt has Tennessee in the right direction, but the talent gap as of now should lead to a Florida win.

Result: Win

Game 5: vs. Towson

Before two tough matchups in a row, Florida has a tune-up game against Towson, and the outcome shouldn’t be much different from the UT Martin game.

Result: Win

Game 6: vs. Auburn

This will be Florida biggest test of the season thus far and a very physical football game. The defenses for both teams should be great, but the talent on offense heavily favors Florida. Add on their home field advantage, and the Gators take this one.

Result: Win

Game 7: at LSU

The defining win of Florida’s 2018 season came against LSU in a 27-19 upset, but going to death valley is a different animal. There is a good chance both teams are undefeated going into this game, but if so, LSU hands Florida their first loss of the season.

Result: Loss

Game 8: at South Carolina

After a tough loss, this could be a very tricky game for Florida going back on the road. It is just hard to see where South Carolina can take advantage since Florida is better on both sides of the ball. A fatigue win on the road could be a prominent momentum builder for the Gators.

Result: Win

Game 9: vs. Georgia

It might not be an upset by the time they face off in November, but the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will go to Florida in 2019. Georgia still holds the edge in terms of talent, but the gap is shrinking by the year. This could be the win that lets the college football world know Florida is on its way back to the top of the SEC.

Result: Win

Game 10: vs. Vanderbilt

Last season this game got weird as Vandy raced outĀ to a 21-3 lead before Florida mounted a big comeback and ended up winning 37-27. Coming off what could be an emotional win against Georgia, this is a definite scare if Florida drops its guard.

Result: Win

Game 11: at Missouri

Vanderbilt has all the makings of a classic hangover game, but the real slip up comes when Florida travels to Colombia. Missouri has the potential to be the surprise team in the SEC East, and a late-season game on the road catches Florida slipping.

Result: Loss

Game 12: vs. Florida State

The division results from Florida’s lost the previous week could have a significant impact on their motivation for this game. However, there is little reason to think Florida State will be a good football team in 2019. The Gators take care of business in their rivalry game and await their SEC Championship Game fate.

Result: Win

Final Record: 10-2 (6-2 in the SEC)
