Juventus face Atalanta at Allianz Stadium on Sunday, May 19. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
There are two games remaining in the Serie A season. Juventus clinched the Scudetto for the eighth straight season weeks ago and now have very little to play for. On Sunday, Juventus host fourth-place Atalanta, who are fighting for a spot in the Champions League next season. The game also features the two highest-scoring clubs in Serie A, which should make for a very entertaining game.
Juventus have taken their foot off the gas since winning the Serie A title. Roma defeated Juventus 2-0 last weekend. Over their last five games, Juventus have picked up only five points. Injuries have hit Juventus hard late in the season. At least five players will not play against Atalanta. However, one of the players who will play is Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar is third in Serie A with 21 goals this season.
Atalanta were looking to win their first Coppa Italia since 1963 but lost midweek to Lazio. The Goddess will now turn their attention to the top four race. Atalanta are three points ahead of AC Milan and Roma in the race for fourth. If the Goddess are able to beat Juventus and Milan and Roma both drop points, Atalanta will qualify for the Champions League for the first time in club history. The Goddess are undefeated over their last 11 games, picking up 27 of a possible 33 points. Duvan Zapata joined Atalanta on loan from Sampdoria in the summer. The Colombian striker is having the best season of his career. Zapata is second in Serie A with 22 goals this season.
