When does the 2019 WNBA season start?

The WNBA is set to begin another incredible season. Here’s everything you need to know to catch all the action Opening Night and throughout the first week of the season.

The 2019 WNBA season tips off on May 24, with a double-header featuring the Dallas Wings taking on the Atlanta Dream and the Indiana Fever traveling to New York to take on the Liberty. That will be followed up with a Saturday triple-header featuring two nationally televised games.

You’ll be able to see a lot more WNBA action on your regular channels this season with CBS just entering into a deal with the league to televise an additional 40 games. For just $16.99 for the entire season (a screaming deal), League Pass lets you catch every WNBA that’s not nationally televised. For $9.99 for the entire season you can just get all the games for your favorite team. Here’s how the schedule looks for the first week of the season.

This season will be a chance to get to know a whole new crop of stars. Several of the league’s veteran stars like Diana Taurasi, Breanna Stewart, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Maya Moore are set to miss some or all of the season.
