Las Vegas Aces: Was Liz Cambage in the wrong scenario in Dallas, or does she naturally stir up problems wherever she goes?

The Aces are facing the most high-variance season of any team in the league. Las Vegas could end up somewhere near .500, or they could end up in the Finals depending on the answer to one question: will Liz Cambage like it there? Cambage is the greatest per-minute scorer in league history, and she has to be the most unpredictable player in league history as well: she’s played in the WNBA in just three of the last eight seasons, with 2018-2019 set to be her first set of consecutive years in the league. This offseason, Cambage followed up her trade request from the Wings — which, fair enough — with the subsequently puzzling complaints that the uncertainty of the future stressed her out. Given the decade-long hole that the Wings have been in, described above, it could very well be the case that Cambage needed a change in scenery in order to finally translate her prodigious talent into wins. On the other hand: would you put down cash on the Aces to hit the over on their win total?
