Aaron Rodgers is really, really bad at chugging beer
By Chris Wurtz
There are a lot of things that Aaron Rodgers is really, really good at. Apparently, chugging beer is not one of them.
Aaron Rodgers may have just officially lost his man card.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback was sitting courtside at Thursday’s Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Milwaukee when he was thrown into an impromptu beer-chugging competition with a teammate. And that teammate just so happened to be the 6-foot-4, 310-pound David Bakhtiari. Advantage Bakhtiari.
As the offensive tackle housed three beers in under a minute, Rodgers made it about halfway through one before pulling up short.
Of course, the competition was shown on the Jumbotron for all of Fiserv Forum – and the world, for that matter – to enjoy.

Predictably enough, Twitter is having fun at Rodgers’ expense.
Apparently, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was at a restaurant enjoying a few drinks when Rodgers stumbled on national television. Stafford promptly proved that he’s the class of the NFC North quarterbacks when it comes to chugging beer.
Rodgers even tweeted at Bakhtiari himself, offering up a rematch with a slight variation.
Internet personality Pat McAfee had a different explanation for Rodgers’ misfortune. Maybe, the quarterback was just trying to let one of the guys who protects him in the trenches get some spotlight of his own.
Milwaukee Brewers star outfielder and reigning National League MVP Christian Yelich apparently took his own shot later in the night. Not nearly as fast as Bakhtiari, but he has to at least get some credit for finishing.
Oh, and people are of course getting of a kick out of the Jumbotron graphic’s title for Rodgers.

It’s alright, Aaron. Chugging beer in only a couple of seconds isn’t for everyone. Maybe it’s not really a quarterback thing.
Oh wait.
It’s OK, we forgive you.
