High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Serge Ibaka (at MIL – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Of course, Serge Ibaka has the big game when I moved away from him. I’ve been banging on this guy all series saying he’s the key to the Raptors success and the game I miss, they play him. Such is luck. I still love Ibaka. But I also like Mirotic and Lopez back in Milwaukee. Lopez has the higher ceiling, Mirotic is more consistent, Ibaka is the wild card. I’ll keep going with my gut over my head. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Marc Gasol (at MIL – $6,600): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Even in limited minutes, Gasol is just performing in this series. Until he shows signs of slowing down, you can keep taking him. I do worry about him hitting 3s on the road but he’s all of a sudden an elite 3-point shooter so what do I know? Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Norman Powell (at MIL – $4,400): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. This is still Norman Powell’s world and we’re just living in it. Like the rest of the Raptors role guys, hitting shots on the road is tougher than hitting them at home because the magnets disappear. But Powell has proven a lot in the last few games and is clearly a guy who will keep getting minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
