5. Everything else
In a singles match tonight, we saw Mansoor pick up a win against Sean Maluta with a spinning reverse suplex which has yet to be given an actual name. The match was fine for what it was, which was pretty much a showcase for the young up-and-comer, Mansoor. If he continues to improve with every opportunity he’s given he has a real shot to be a player on the black and gold brand going forward.

In other news, after the heated confrontation between Bianca Belair and Mia Yim last week, it was confirmed that these two would settle their differences in the ring next week on NXT. Also, after Drew Gulak stood on the stage last week and attempted to distract Kushida, those two will face off next week as well.
With TakeOver right around the corner, we have a few really strong matches to look forward to next week before we get there. Never a bad thing.
But that’s it for this week’s edition of the NXT Five Count. There wasn’t a ton of wrestling on this show, but there was a bunch of storyline advancement as we ended the show with knowing the entire card for NXT TakeOver XXV.
