MLB DFS Weather Report for Friday May 31st
Giants @ Orioles 6:05 P.M. CST
Temperature: 80°
Wind Speed and Direction: <5 MPH E
Precipitation: 1%
Humidity: Low 70%
Very light wind in Baltimore for tonight’s game, but it is important to note that it will help push the ball out towards right. It will be a comfortable 80° and as close to no chance of rain as it can be. Look for lefties to try and loft the ball tonight to get any help the wind is willing to provide.
Red Sox @ Yankees 6:05 P.M. CST
Temperature: Mid 70’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 6-7 MPH NE
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: Low 50%
It looks like a perfect night for baseball in New York. No chance of rain and a temperature in the mid-70’s. Baseballs hit to left field could be helped by that 6-7 MPH wind. We just have to watch out for the left field foul pole because if you hit a baseball the same way I hit a golf ball, you may hook North of the pole and foul.
Brewers @ Pirates 6:05 P.M. CST
Temperature: 74°
Wind Speed and Direction: 5 MPH SE
Precipitation: 32% at first pitch and drops to 0% by 8:00 P.M.
Humidity: Low 50%
Ultimately, there is nothing to worry about in Pittsburgh as the chance of rain is not threatening and decreases throughout the night. If anything, we could see a few flurries early. I wonder if people will avoid this game based on the possibility of rain early on. But that might prove to be a big mistake with the wind blowing directly out to center field.
Nationals @ Reds 6:10 P.M. CST
Temperature: 74°
Wind Speed and Direction: 6 MPH E
Precipitation: 20% at first pitch and dropping
Humidity: Mid-to-High 60%
Righties! Keep an eye on Eugenio Suarez tonight if he is in the lineup, even in a match up against Patrick Corbin. He did recently take a ball off the left hand but x-rays came back negative. Wind is blowing out to left field in an extreme hitters ball park. Pitchers beware.
Twins @ Rays 6:10 P.M. CST
Temperature: DOME
Wind Speed and Direction: DOME
Precipitation: DOME
Humidity: DOME
“We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind. Cause your friends don’t dance and if they don’t dance, well they are no friends of mine!” Thank you Bio-Dome. According to Austin Meadows, homeostasis is at 100% and hopes to keep it that way.

Tigers @ Braves 6:20 P.M. CST
Temperature: 83°
Wind Speed and Direction: 10 MPH ESE
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: High 40%
Very nice weather in Atlanta for tonight’s 6:20 P.M. start. The double-digit wind will likely push balls towards the right field foul pole. If you can keep it to center or right-center, the wind should help a bit, but hope to keep it fair.
Royals @ Rangers 7:05 P.M. CST
Temperature: High 70’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 7 MPH NW
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: Mid 40%
You might want to think twice before filling your roster with Royals or Rangers, unless you’re hoping for bloop singles or tons of stolen bases from KC. Which don’t get me wrong, the Royals are fast! The projected 7 MPH wind will be directly in the face of the hitter. It is a pitchers kind of night. Heck, my 40 MPH fastball could nearly hit 50 MPH on a night like this!
Indians @ White Sox 7:10 P.M. CST
Temperature: Mid 70’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 10 MPH NE
Precipitation: 5%
Humidity: Mid 50%
It has been a very wet start to Spring here in Chicago. It’s supposed to be April showers bring May flowers. I’m not sure how it works if it’s April and May showers. Anyways, we look to be in the clear tonight with just a 5% chance of rain and 10 MPH wind blowing towards the 3rd base line.
Cubs @ Cardinals 7:15 P.M. CST
Temperature: Mid-to-High 70’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 6 MPH SE
Precipitation: 1%
Humidity: Mid 50%
The Cubs hitting has been on a tear this season, with loads of home runs. It is the first season I can remember in a while where Anthony Rizzo gets hot before the All-Star break. Kyle Schwarber has seen success out of the lead-off spot as well.
The rivalry continues and we could see a high run total tonight in St. Louis. Miles Mikolas pitches to contact, which bodes well for the lefties in the Cubs lineup with the help of the wind going to right field. Yu Darvish for the Cubs could walk six or seven guys and give up one big hit and crooked numbers.
Blue Jays @ Rockies 7:40 P.M. CST
Temperature: Mid-to-High 60’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 7 MPH NNE
Precipitation: 1%
Humidity: High 30%
CHALK ALERT! Coors is always a spot that DFS players look to utilize with the thin air in Denver. On top of that, wind is blowing to right-center field at 7 MPH. At least for the Rockies sake, German Marquez is on the bump, but in Coors, anything can happen.

Mets @ Diamondbacks 8:40 P.M. CST
Temperature: High 80’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 7 MPH E
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: 12%
7 seems to be the magic number on tonight’s slate, as that is once again the wind speed in Phoenix. No rain in the forecast means the roof will likely be open and can be helped by that light wind towards the right-field foul pole.

Astros @ Athletics 9:07 P.M. CST
Temperature: 60°
Wind Speed and Direction: 8 MPH NE
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: Mid-to-Low 80%
8 MPH wind to right field has a nice ring to it when looking up and down the Astros lineup. Hello Alex Bregman! Brad Peacock has been solid for the Astros with a 5-2 record and a K/BB ratio of 58/15. Mike Fiers on the other hand is sporting a 5.00 ERA and the Astros will look to increase that number.
Angels @ Mariners 9:10 P.M. CST
Temperature: Mid-to-High 60’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 6 MPH SW
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: Mid-to-High 50%
This may be another spot to avoid tonight with the wind blowing in. With temperatures in the mid-60’s and no chance of rain, I’m sure the roof will be open.
Phillies @ Dodgers 9:10 P.M. CST
Temperature: Low 60’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 5 MPH NNE
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: Low 80%
Oh baby! The wind is blowing directly out to center field in this offensive-minded powerhouses. Granted it’s only 5 MPH, hitters on these teams don’t generally need any help from the wind for no doubters. But why not make things interesting and add some helping gusts. Jake Arrieta and Kenta Maeda are going to be on their toes all night trying to keep the run total down.
Marlins @ Padres 9:10 P.M. CST
Temperature: Low 60’s°
Wind Speed and Direction: 5 MPH ENE
Precipitation: No Rain
Humidity: Low 70%
Similar to Los Angeles, San Diego will see some wind pushing out to right-center field. Eric Hosmer is having a nice start to the season with a .297 AVG and nine home runs. But Caleb Smith will try to utilize his 33.2 K% to limit the damage. Joey Lucchesi on the other side has been no slouch either.
