11. Charlotte (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Becky Lynch in a Fatal 4-Way match for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Rival

The Four Horsewomen cometh, though this time they’d be facing each other. As the consistent workhorses of the NXT women’s division Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks had been embroiled in ongoing angles with each other that culminated in NXT General Manager William Regal sanctioning a fatal four-way for Charlotte’s NXT Women’s Championship.

It was a moment for each woman to shine in their own right. As the defending champion, Charlotte had a target on her back with the other three gunning to take her out. Banks and Lynch had formed an alliance in previous weeks, with Lynch turning on Bayley which sparked Bayley to shed her ā€œhappy to be hereā€ attitude and get more aggressive.

With the four women knowing each other so well, and being real-life close friends behind the curtain, they knew how to carry the match in a compelling way which showcased each of their strengths.

Flair was taken out early with a wicked-looking bump against the LED board that ran along the ring apron. From there, Banks and Lynch systematically worked to pick apart Bayley until Lynch finally turned on Banks and folded her up with an overhead suplex. But it would ultimately be Banks’ night as she rallied back to win the NXT Women’s Championship by pinning the champ herself in this instant classic.

Each of the Four Horsewomen has mentioned how they’d love to have this match happen again as the main event of WrestleMania. Given how this match went over with fans the first time, I’m sure they’d agree a rematch with the four could be one for the ages.
