Christian Eriksen

If Real Madrid can’t purchase Paul Pogba from Manchester United or work out a trade this summer, they could spend more than 100 million euros, perhaps even close to 150 million, on Tottenham attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Though not quite as consistent or as well-rounded as Pogba, Eriksen is one of the best in the world at creating chances. A creative passer with solid skills on the ball and a real knack for grabbing goals from set pieces, Eriksen could be an immediate difference-maker for Real and a long-term replacement for Luka Modric.

At 27, Eriksen is at a stage of his career where a move to Real would make sense, and he could be one of their stars for years to come. Tottenham are trying to push towards better and better with a new stadium and a Champions League Final appearance, but they could benefit from selling Eriksen to Real from a massive amount of cash.

Last season, Eriksen showed off his quality with 8 goals and 12 assists as one of the Premier League’s best midfield maestros. The Danish international is an excellent role player who can find the killer pass, and Real Madrid need someone like him who makes any set piece dangerous. Eriksen can find moments of magic with just one brilliant defense-splitting pass, and he has the range to find the goal from pretty much any angle or distance.
