Fantasy Baseball 2019 June 6 Streaming Options
By Bill Pivetz
Whether you are looking for help in your season-long fantasy baseball league or DFS, here are some streaming options to pick from.
Week 10 is halfway over. This is time to make a move to earn a win in your head-to-head or move up a couple of points in your roto fantasy baseball league. The way to do that is by streaming a pitcher or two with a good matchup.
They can help your ratios, rack up a few strikeouts and even earn a win or quality start. Being able to pick up a starting pitcher and getting help in four of the five major pitching categories is a good way to get closer to your league’s championship.
Looking ahead to the June 6 slate of games, 14 of the 22 starting pitchers listed to start (there are four names to be announced) are owned in more than 50 percent of ESPN leagues.
With managers quick to pull their starters, finding a pitcher that will go long enough to get a win let alone a quality start makes the decision even more difficult.

Here are my streaming options for the June 6 slate of games.
Shaun Anderson, @NYM
My string of listing pitchers named “Shawn” (or a variety of the name) continues. The Mets are a mess. The team is hitting .227 with nine runs scored this month. The Marlins scored 11 in the fifth inning in their last game.
Anderson had three straight five-inning games with eight combined earned runs. In his last start, he went seven innings with two runs, five hits, one walk and four strikeouts on his way to his first win against the Orioles.
He may not provide you with double-digit strikeouts, Anderson can get you a quality start and a win against the Mets.
Ariel Jurado, vs. BAL
There’s always one pitcher that I’ve never heard of and Jurado is the guy today. The Orioles do have a couple of power hitters, like Dwight Smith and Trey Mancini but like with the next offense, don’t have a full lineup that scares me.
The Orioles are hitting .245 with 15 runs scored in three games this month. They hit .239 in May.
Jurado pitched in middle relief for most of the season. Though, he’s made two starts and this will be his third. In those two starts, he pitched for a combined 12.1 innings and allowed 11 hits, five walks and four runs with nine strikeouts and a win.
With Joey Gallo on the IL, the Rangers offense takes a bit of a hit but have enough on the roster to score some runs and help Jurado get his third win.
Mike Fiers, @LAA
Even after his no-hitter, Fiers is getting no love from fantasy baseball owners. Yes, he hasn’t pitched as well since but he’s also not pitching that bad. Since that game, Fiers has a 3.42 ERA, 0.929 WHIP, 13 strikeouts, nine walks and a 1-0 record.
The Angels offense, outside of Mike Trout, is struggling. Andrelton Simmons and Zack Cozart are on the IL. Tommy La Stella is on a hot streak and Alberto Pujols can still hit home runs but this isn’t lineup I’d shy away from.
Honorable Mention: Andrew Casher, @TEX; Danny Duffy, vs. BOS
It’s a weak list for streaming options. These three pitchers are widely available so if you are in the market for a streamer, one of these pitchers should be there for you to add.
