While the exact order of awards at the 2019 Tonys has not yet been released, we can make some pretty good educated guesses. The show typically starts with one of the featured acting awards and always closes with Best Musical. Fifteen Tonys are presented live, with the design awards, orchestrations, choreography and score announced before the taping. Acceptance speeches for those awards are, however, inserted throughout the broadcast.
The 2019 Tonys are hosted by James Corden and notabel presenters include Sara Bareilles, Abigail Breslin, David Byrne, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Tina Fey, Sutton Foster, Danai Gurira, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lucy Liu and Samuel L. Jackson, among many others.
