NBA Finals 2019: Toronto Raptors vs. Golden State Warriors Game 6 live stream: Watch online
By Ian Levy
The Warriors will be at home and looking to force a Game 7 against the Raptors. Here’s everything you need to know to watch this NBA Finals matchup.
The Warriors avoided elimination in a chaotic Game 5, getting huge shots down the stretch from Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to sneak ahead in the final moments. Draymond Green was able to block Kyle Lowry’s buzzer-beating 3-point attempt and secure the final margin and secure a Game 6.
While they won the game, the Warriors lost Kevin Durant to a serious Achilles’ injury and saw Kevon Looney aggravate his rib injury. The Warriors have given themselves a chance to force Game 7 and complete an epic (and ironic) 3-1 comeback but they’ll have to do it shorthanded and with the shadow of Durant’s future cast over them. The Warriors have the talent to pull it off, but the odds are certainly stacked against them.
To avoid Game 7, the Raptors will need to win their third game of this series on the road — a tall task anywhere but one that also will have the added weight of being the last game ever at Oracle Arena before the Warriors move across the bay. Kawhi Leonard has been sensational but they’ll need everyone from Marc Gasol to Kyle Lowry to step-up and play their best games.
