St. Louis Blues 2019 Stanley Cup parade: Date, time, route
By C.L. Kohuss
For the first time in franchise history, the St. Louis Blues have won the Stanley Cup, defeating the Boston Bruins in seven games.
In what has to be the most stunning turnaround in NHL history, the St. Louis Blues are champions. Remember back in January when they were in last place and total dead meat (lol). In fact, somebody even wrote them off as should-be sellers at the trade deadline.
There isn’t much to be said that hasn’t been or won’t be said about this team in the coming days. After putting themselves back into contention with an 11-game win streak during the regular season, they finished third in the Central then knocked off the Winnipeg Jets, the Dallas Stars in seven, the San Jose Sharks, and finally the Bruins who must feel so bad that they could not bring that long-suffering city a title.
We could sit here and list for days the standouts off the St. Louis roster, but there’s really only one that needs to absolutely find mention here: goaltender Jordan Binnington—as a rookie and not even having played a full season—squarely embedded himself into hockey lore and legend with his postseason play and his complete carrying of the Blues into the playoffs.
Sure, it wasn’t always pretty, but simply look at the saves he made in Game 7 of the Final to find out why he’s the future in net for that franchise.

Congrats to St. Louis, to the city and the team, to the fans and everyone involved. Celebrate like there’s no tomorrow, fellas!
Parade Route Details:
We don’t have a ton of details now, but the Blues announced where the parade will start. The best part about this is it appears the parade will be held on Saturday, which makes it easier to get out of work since no one will be doing that anyway.
