Fantasy Baseball 2019 June 14 Streaming Options
By Bill Pivetz
The pitcher streaming options for June 14 are plentiful but knowing which ones to add to your fantasy baseball team is the real trick.
If you are looking for a streaming option for your fantasy baseball team, there are plenty of Fantasy Baseball starting pitchers available for you to add. Some of them may be riskier than others but that’s the point of a streaming option.
These pitchers are not as consistent as the league’s top names so using them in a game could hurt your stats. But, if the pitcher performs well, you could see a nuce boost in some categories. Streaming could be used in all league formats, head-to-head, points and roto. Just be careful if your league has a starts, innings or transactions limit.
As usual, the pitchers I select are owned in less than 30 percent of ESPN leagues. This gives the majority of fantasy baseball owners the chance to pick up one of these names to use from this slate of games.

Unlike my other streaming posts, I listed my streaming options in order of how confident I am in their performance.
Adam Plutko, @DET
Plutko had a bad start against the Rays before being options to Triple-A. In his first start back, he pitched six innings and allowed two runs with four strikeouts to the Yankees.
He will get another start on the road against the Tigers with Carlos Carrasco on the IL. Detroit’s offense isn’t that good. Outside of Nicholas Castellanos, there isn’t a hitter in the lineup that scares me.
He should pitch well enough to get the quality start and if the Indians offense hits, he’ll get the win as well.
Trevor Richards, vs. PIT
I’ve touted Richards’ skills earlier this week. He needs to be owned in more leagues so he doesn’t qualify as a streamer anymore. He has a good strikeout rate and low ratios. The negative is hit walk rate.
If you can take the hit in WHIP, then he’ll reward you with a quality start, a few strikeouts and possibly a win.
Chris Bassitt, vs. SEA
Bassitt may not pitch deep enough to get the quality start but does qualify for the win. He has a 4.63 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and a 6:3 K:BB ratio in the last 15 days. Taking on the Mariners should help Bassitt settle down.
The Mariners offense is hitting .241 with 26 home runs and 71 runs scored this month, the latter two stats are in the top five. Bassitt’s fly ball rate is a bit higher than his career average but his line drive rate has dropped.
CC Sabathia, @CWS
Sabathia is 0-2 in his last two starts but is showing good control. In his last 11.0 innings, he has seven earned runs, one walk and 13 strikeouts. The negative is the short starts Sabathia is giving his fantasy owners.
After 10 starts, he averages 5.2 innings, just good enough to earn a win. With the Yankees offense, he can almost always get a win. The White Sox have some power hitters but as long as Sabathia can limit his damage for the five innings he pitches, he’ll be worth adding.
Streaming pitchers is always a risky strategy. But, if you pick the right one, you can get a big reward. The right matchup, location and having confidence all contribute to a good performance. The four pitchers I listed have a good chance to pitch well for your fantasy baseball team.
