Fans visiting Omaha for the 2019 College World Series might be looking for some other things to do while in town. This guide (from a new Omaha resident) should help with that.

Welcome to Omaha, college baseball fans! For those visiting for the 2019 College World Series, you’re clearly here with the intent to spend the majority of your time here in TD Ameritrade Park to witness the culmination of the 2019 NCAA baseball tournament.

And you know, that’s totally fine. You’re here to watch baseball, and I can completely support that. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t also check out a pretty great town while you’re here.

Families with young kids may not want to sit through the entirety of a baseball game. Your favorite team might get eliminated before the College World Series finals and you’ve suddenly got some free time on your hands (it’ll happen to fans of six of the eight teams involved in this event).

Or maybe between games, you want to go check out what Omaha has to offer to fully enjoy your vacation.

There’s plenty to see and do around town that doesn’t revolve solely around the College World Series. And, well, there’s also plenty to see and do around town that does revolve solely around the College World Series.

And so, let me (someone moved to Omaha a little over two months ago and is still learning more about this city) be your guide.
