The UCF Knights are going to have to keep nailing their recruiting classes if they want to stay a top college program. This is a tall task for any school, let alone a group of five program like UCF.
Nonetheless, they’re going to have to change minds and flip recruits. Adding dynamic players to an offense that already is dynamic is a big starter. Enter Clearwater product Keyvone Lee out of Superior Collegiate Academy.
The Knights have an offer out to Lee and they need to land as much higher talent on the offensive side of the football as possible. Their best bet to getting a higher end recruit might be going local.
Lee would be the crown jewel of the class for the Knights and give them a future superstar at the running back position. at 6’0″ and 223 pounds, Lee has great size and is going to end up being a feature back.
The problem for UCF is that they’re competing with major programs from power-five conferences for his services. They have to hope that they’ve built up enough goodwill with their performance these last two seasons that they can convince some of these higher profile recruits to jump on.
Realistically it’s going to be tough, but as all things in life go, they have to aim big. And if there’s any program that prides itself on aiming big, it’s the one that self-dubbed themselves national champions.
