The top cornerback in the 2020 class comes from the state of Arizona. Kelee Ringo has made a name for himself at powerhouse Saguaro. His size and ability to match up with any receiver makes him the most sought after cornerback.

Ringo is 6’2″ and 200 pounds. He loves man-on-man coverage and is the textbook definition of a shutdown cornerback. If he keeps developing, he will quickly be one of the best cornerbacks on Saturday’s.

Ringo is a must land for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State has sort of cornered the market recently on great cornerbacks, no pun intended. Whether it’s Denzel Ward, Marshon Lattimore or others, the Buckeyes have developed some of the best at the spot.

Ohio State could have an uphill climb as they undergo a regime change and that could mean missing out on a few top-flight prospects. Still, Ringo’s made an unofficial visit to Columbus and they have an offer for him like everyone else.

Cornerbacks likeĀ Patrick Peterson and Jalen Ramsey thrive on winning one-on-one battles.

The Saguaro product has that same potential and it’s going to make him an impact player right away. Ohio State needs must-land recruits to maintain their hierarchy in the Big Ten Conference. Ringo would be a monster add.
