2019 NBA Free Agency will start soon, and here are the five best wings available. They are all superstars, and they’ll shape next season’s landscape.

2019 NBA free agency will be insane. It doesn’t officially start until July, but there are a lot of people on the phone right now without a doubt. There will be tons of moving pieces, and so it will be a bit like musical chairs if $20,000,000 per year (or more) was the going rate to change seats.

There are many small forwards on the market who will dictate the landscape of what happens for the rest of the players in the league. There are All-Stars and even some NBA Finals MVPs available. Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant both come to mind for sure. Leonard and Durant had vastly different postseasons, but ideally, they can both take the summer to recover from any lingering (or current) injuries and come back totally healthy by the next playoffs.

Jimmy Butler, Khris Middleton, and Klay Thompson are all talented wings who’ll get offers as well. It might be cheating to put Thompson on this list, but he guards so many small forwards that it doesn’t feel that bad.

Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey is angling for Butler, and let’s hope he gets this done for the sake of Eric Gordon and Clint Capela. It could be awkward to go back to work for someone who tried to trade you over the summer. Doesn’t make for the best office cooler conversations.

Only time will tell what occurs, but there are indications that certain players will change their living situation. Here are the best wings available in 2019 NBA free agency.
