Tampa Bay Buccaneers – UNDER 6.5

The fourth best team in the NFC South will likely remain the fourth best time in the NFC South once again. The Bucs haven’t really added anyone noteworthy that is going to make them more than a six win team and the Jameis Winston stock continues to crumble with every pick he throws trying to make an unnecessary highlight pass. The Bucs also have one of the worst schedules in the league. At one point, they go 49 days without a home game.

The good news is that Bruce Arians is taking over as head coach of this team, so it might be the last year they remain near the bottom of the division. For every somewhat key piece they lost in the offseason, they replaced them with another. Gerald McCoy is gone, but Ndomakung Suh joins the team. DeSean Jackson is back in Philly, but the Bucs picked up ex-Raven/Brown and first round draft pick Breshad ā€œhandsā€ Perriman (This is the year!). Ryan Fitzpatrick out, Blaine Gabbert in!

This Buccaneers team is going to do a well as Arians and Winston can take them, which should be right around six wins this season. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will look great (at times) but the Bucs will have to wait another season or five to be

back

in the playoff picture.

It’s an upward trend in Tampa Bay and that is a plus for Bucs fans. Bruce Arians knows what he is doing and will likely get a long leash to turn this team around. Enjoy the process. At best, you might even finish ahead of the Falcons this season!

Overall, the Bucs D is going to get torched again this season leading to some great fantasy numbers for Evans and Godwin, but some rough losses until they can get the pieces in place to bounce back in a few years.
