WWE Monday Night Raw preview, July 1: Watch online
Here is everything you need to watch the July 1, 2019 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, via an online stream.
A new month has turned the page, and with that comes a new era for WWE Monday Night Raw. As focus turns to Extreme Rules in two weeks, there is plenty to cover for this week’s edition of the flagship show.
In case you missed the bombshell news last week, WWE has announced that Raw will have a new Executive Director. He will oversee pretty much everything on Monday nights and will answer directly to Vince McMahon. That man is none other than the advocate to a certain former Universal Champion, Paul Heyman. He is one of the most brilliant minds in wrestling today and is gold with a microphone. Putting him in charge of Raw should put a few more viewers on the board each week if things are done right. There’s no word yet if his new role will include more on-screen time, but expect a few things to change over the next several weeks.
Moving on to the actual broadcast, the feud between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley continues to escalate. Strowman has emerged victorious in an arm wrestling match, at their in-ring meeting at last month’s Super ShowDown event in Saudia Arabia and most recently, in a tug of war match. This week, the two are back at it again, this time it’s going to be falls count anywhere. Who knows what will happen when they have pretty much the entire city of Dallas at their disposal!
The Wild Card rule that was put into effect by Mr. McMahon a few weeks ago strikes again this week, as all three members of The New Day will be in attendance on Raw. But it won’t be such a fun-loving experience for the pancake-loving trio, as two of the three members will have to step into the ring against one of the hardest-hitting tag teams in recent memory, The Viking Raiders. Erik and Ivar are hardly ever in a playful mood, and while this will be one of their biggest matches to date in WWE, it likely will be a painful night for The New Day.
Last week, the WWE Universe was absolutely shocked by the unexpected return of The Undertaker. During last week’s handicap match pitting Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre against Roman Reigns, the Dead Man appeared in the ring and cleaned out to save Reigns. We now now that he will team with Reigns to face Shane-O-Mac and The Scottish Psychopath at Extreme Rules, but what will happen this week, as we get closer to that match?
