With Spider-Man: Far From Home now out in theaters, three questions are on moviegoer’s minds — Will it be in 3D? IMAX? Or both?

The first summer blockbuster Marvel film, Spider-Man: Far From Home will surely rake in the cash at the box office.

While the film will be shown in standard 2D, many also are asking if Spider-Man: Far From Home will be available in 3D and IMAX, two of the more popular theater realms for Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Really, this should be a non-question.

The MCU has been the industry leaders in utilizing its films for bigger, more advanced movie screens. So you can bet your bottom dollar that Spider-Man: Far From Home will be showing in both 3D and IMAX.

There are two reasons why this is so.

The first is that the film was made for these types of screens. Yes, you can go see it in the standard 2D version, but ask yourself this: Would Spider-Man: Far From Home be more satisfying if you shell out the extra $3 to see it IMAX or 3D?

If the answer is yes, then that’s exactly what Sony wants you to experience the movie in. There’s just something exhilarating about watching Marvel action in IMAX and seeing Spider-Man nearly swing into your face with your disposable 3D glasses on.

When you think of it in that aspect, it is worth the extra $3 to see Far From Home in IMAX and 3D, which brings me to my second point.

IMAX and 3D tickets carry a higher price tag than the standard 2D feature. If you’re tight on cash and still want your fill of Spider-Man, by all means, take in the standard version.

However, if you have the money to spend, then shell out that dough and go see it in IMAX and 3D. Which, isn’t that exactly what Sony wants after all?
