WWE SmackDown! Live preview, July 2: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the July 2, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown Live.
Well if the first WWE Raw broadcast under the direction of Paul Heyman is any indication, we should be in for a treat as none other than Eric Bischoff prepares to take the wheel for SmackDown Live.
In case you missed the announcement last week, Heyman and Bischoff were named Executive Directors of the respective brands. This could drastically shake things up, and the timing is perfect with SummerSlam right around the corner and, of course, Team Blue making the switch to the FOX network in October. Bischoff can be often controversial at times, so things could get very interesting around the WWE Universe.
Last week, Nikki Cross battled SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Bayley. The match was set up with the stipulation that if Cross picked up the win, Alexa Bliss would receive a shot at the title at Extreme Rules in two weeks. Cross indeed pulled off the upset, earning her ally a shot at the title. How will Bayley respond this week, and what will Miss Bliss have to say as she prepares for the upcoming match?
Dolph Ziggler has made it his life mission to dethrone Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. However after falling short in a two-out-of-three falls match against the champion, where he could get into the championship match at Extreme Rules, what is next for The Showoff?
Speaking of the WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston got roughed up at the hands of Samoa Joe on Raw this week. Will Kingston make an appearance on Tuesday, and what does he make of the continuous efforts of Ziggler to get involved in the championship picture?
