Snoop Dogg records new song to lure Kawhi Leonard to the Lakers

The battle for Kawhi Leonard is now being fought in the rap arena as rap legend Snoop Dogg is now recruiting Leonard to join his beloved Lakers.
The battler for Kawhi Leonard has moved into the rap arena.
Not long after it was reported that rap superstar and Toronto Raptors Ambassador Drake was going all in to try to convince Leonard to stay in Canada, hip-hop legend and Los Angeles Lakers superfan Snoop Dogg has now entered the high-stakes recruitment of the new king of the NBA.
Snoop took to Twitter to record a short video explaining why Kawhi should ditch Toronto and come play for the Purple and Gold. The video is just 44 seconds long, but Uncle Snoop doesn’t need much time to make his point clear, and NBA Jesus, does Snoop get his point across.

Yes, in a span of 44 seconds, in the spirit of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature,” Snoop managed to try to explain why King Kawhi should come back home and play for the Lakers, and throw a shot at Drake in the process.
The Kawhi Sweepstakes has officially entered the bizarro world.
Back in the day, the fight over a highly coveted free agent would stay between the teams. However, in the new age of social media and the growing influence entertainers have over the game, it’s now common to see rap superstars battle it out to see which one can come through for their respective teams.
If Drake can pull off what’s now looking like the improbable and convince King Kawhi to run it back in The Six next season, he would be seen as a hero in Canada. If Uncle Snoop’s “Human Kawhi” can get through to Leonard and convince him to come back to the West Coast, Snoop would no doubt be seen as immortal among Laker Nation.
As I said, it’s a bizarro world.
