Fantasy Football ā Pre-Draft Quarterback Rankings
5 ā Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)
2018 Stats: 5,129 Yards | 34 TDs | 16 INTs | 67% Completion
There is always talk about Ben Roetlisberger and how healthy he is or how āfootball readyā is his body. We always get a surprise when he puts those questions behind himself. While the Pittsburgh Steelers lost both Antonio Brown and LeāVeon Bell, they found their replacements. JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner proved to Roethlisberger that the pressure wasnāt all for him to take on by himself. Still, having a true number one weapon in JuJu Smith-Schuster and then with Conner out of the backfield, Roethlisberger should be able to continue his consistent play.

4 ā Tom Brady (New England Patriots)
2018 Stats: 4,355 Yards | 29 TDs | 11 INTs | 65.8% Completion
Tom Brady can truly make something out of a ānobodyā type offense. While players come and go, Julian Edelman has been Bradyās top weapon throughout the seasons. While defenses know who to watch for, Brady still has to figure out who to rely on in the backfield. Sony Michel and James White share the backfield and while they get the job done, they arenāt at the level of Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, or Alvin Kamara. Defenses know that they can get to Brady a little easier but the man will still own the pocket as usual.
3 ā Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers)
2018 Stats: 4,442 Yards | 25 TDs | 2 INTs | 62.3% Completion
A new system will finally be put in place in Green Bay and that is one thing that Aaron Rodgers hinted at multiple times throughout last season. Wanting more looks to Davante Adams was one that should have happened but didnāt. This season we should see the spark lit once again between Rodgers and Adams though. With Aaron Jones still leading the backfield and a full season of Jimmy Graham with Rodgers, the amazing stats of last season of 25 touchdowns to 2 interceptions should be taken to a higher level.
2 ā Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs)
2018 Stats: 5,097 Yards | 50 TDs | 12 INTs | 66% Completion
I have two huge man crushes and Patrick Mahomes is one them. This man can play football and he does it extremely well. With a full season in the books for Mahomes, he put up stats that people couldnāt believe a young quarterback could do or make passes that he did. Losing Kareem Hunt near the time of playoffs, Damien Williams was able to step up and make sure that Mahomes didnāt have to do it all. Plus Mahomes has one of the best tight ends in the league with Travis Kelce who demands the looks of defenses. While the position of Tyreek Hill is still up in the air with his current suspension, Sammy Watkins will have to step up to help out.
1 ā Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints)
2018 Stats: 3,992 Yards | 32 TDs | 5 INTs | 74.4% Completion
Drew Brees can never be doubted and I believe every single person on Earth knows that. While Aaron Rodgers gets the most comparisons to Tom Brady, we canāt forget about Drew Brees. The New Orleans Saints have put the proper weapons in place every season in this offense. All Brees truly needs is Michael Thomas but he also has TreāQuan Smith and Ted Ginn Jr. to relieve some pressure. We also canāt forget Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray. Plus the addition of Jared Cook is a huge weapon for Brees just like Jimmy Graham was. We should expect another great season from Drew Brees and we should see the Saints deep into the playoffs once again.
