Daily Fantasy Golf: FanDuel Picks – The 2019 John Deere Classic
Daily Fantasy Golf: FanDuel PGA – Low Tier Picks ($9,000-$10,000)
Wyndham Clark – $9,800 – (Cash)
I have to continue with Clark this week, but unfortunately, we will not be alone this time. Last week for the 3M Open, Clark was coming in off of back-to-back top-20’s and his solid play and FanDuel salary of just $8,300 made him my Bonus GPP Flyer. My only regret was that I did not play a bunch more of him, as he went on to finish 17-under par, and T-5.
Clark has been noticeable streaky this season, and he is definitely on a hot streak at the moment. He has now shot 12 straight rounds under par, which is a complete 180 considering the fact that he missed four straight cuts coming into the Travelers Championship where he started this stretch.
He is probably going to be cash game chalk considering his price and this field, but the fact that Clark has now done it three weeks in a row will do just that. Lets hope he can keep it going at TPC Deere Run this week.
Mackenzie Hughes – $9,000 – (Cash)
We will need some plays down here this week to fill in the cash lineup obviously, and now more than ever do I have my eye on consistent cut makers. Hughes looked like he was poised to keep his solid run going, but he struggled over the weekend at the 3M Open, as he shot both rounds at +1, to finish T-66.
Despite the rough weekend and tough finish, Hughes has still made the weekend in five straight events. He started the run with a T-8 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and he also added a T-14 at the RBC Canadian, and a T-21 two weeks ago at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Hughes made his John Deere Classic debut last year, and finished T-16. If anything good came out of his rough weekend last week, it kept his price down to the point where is a cash lock in my opinion.
