3. Green Bay Packers

The Packers are another team that seems to have no issue at running back, as long as Aaron Jones gets the usage he deserves under new head coach Matt LaFleur. The vibe around Jones has been all positive this offseason, with a new diet and a commitment to fitness.

Aaron Rodgers under center still raises everyone else’s ceiling.

But, quite simply, the Packers have already wasted too many of Rodgers’ best years. He’s 35 years old (36 in December), so the window for a legit run at another Super Bowl is narrow.

General manager Brian Gutekunst has promised and delivered a good bit of aggressiveness over two offseasons on the job, and it’s fair to assume he’d be willing to add a legit RB1.

As much as it matters, Packers fans would surely welcome Gordon as “one of theirs”. He was born in Kenosha and made himself into a first-round pick over a good college career at the University of Wisconsin.

If he can pick his trade destination, and the Packers have interest of course (as they should, in some sense) a return home probably appeals to Gordon.
